420, 520, 635 and 720 metres.

Surface and Lure

Lismore is a banked two turn Loam surfaced track with a cable lure system

Nomination details

Nominations for Tuesday meetings at Lismore close Thursday prior at 9 am. Nominate with GRNSW: Fax: (02) 8580 5301 (24/7) Phone Nomination on 1300 664 565 between 8am and 9am Monday to Friday. You can also register Online to Nominate through the GRNSW website at www.thedogs.com.au.

Box Draw

The box draw is conducted by the GRNSW following close of nominations. Box draw is typically released Thursday afternoons following grading and can be found on this website, under racing info tab, or alternatively at www.thedogs.com.au

For trainers wishing to access fields via the Telads service please call Call 1902 261 112 and follow the prompts.

Scratchings

Scratchings are taken by GRNSW on 1300 797 538. Phone between 8am and 10:00am daily. DEADLINE FOR SCRATCHINGS 9.00am the day of the race meeting. Scratchings that are faxed WILL NOT be accepted.

Kenneling & Kennels

Kennels There is a veterinary service available at all race meetings. The Kennel block is air-conditioned and the kennels are on one level.

Open 90 minutes prior to the advertised starting time for race 1 and 
Close 45 minutes prior to the advertised starting time for race 1

Swabs

Lismore follow GRNSW swabbing procedures and withholds prizemoney greater than $5830 when swabs are undertaken. Prizemoney is paid following clearance of swab sample.

Trials

Race Day Trials

No trials held before race meetings. They will be held after the race meeting on a Tuesday with field only.

Non Race Day Trials

Wednesday Night
Start: 6pm
Four dog field trials, handslips and solos, No Arm trials 

Thursday Morning - every second week
Start: 8am
Arm Trials only. Bookings essential, no booking no trial.

Friday Mornings
Start: 8am
Four dog field trials, handslips and solos, No Arm trials - Bookings are recommended

Entry to Lismore race meetings for Adults $5.50 incl.GST Concession $3.30 incl. GST. Children under 18 FREE

Parking

Parking is available onsite with ample parking around the kenneling area.

Driving

The NSW GBOTA provides the following driving suggestions. No responsability is taken for traffic or tolls enroute. Please use GPS or other devices if concerned. 

From Brisbane
On the Pacific Highway take the Bangalow exit to take you to Lismore. As you enter Lismore take the first right at the Cathedral and follow this road for 800m. Turn left at the T – Intersection.

From the Casino
Turn right and cross the bridge into Lismore then take the first left past the bridge (Molesworth St) and go straight ahead through the city centre for about 2kms, the track is located on the left hand side 300m past the police station.

Public Transport

There is limited public transport in the area. Lismore Taxis operate in the area contact 131 008.

Feature Races 

Lismore host the Group 2 Lismore Workers Club Cup over 520 metres in October worth 30,000 to the winner.

Catering & Bar

Lismore GBOTA boasts an excellent bistro and snack bar with excellent dining available at reasonable prices. Lismore GBOTA also provides patrons with a fully licenced bar.

Wagering

Lismore GBOTA has an oncourse NSW TAB outlet operating on local and away meetings at race meetings.

The NSW GBOTA advocates responsible wagering. Know your limits. If gambling is a problem for you, please call 1800 858 858 or head to www.gamblinghelp.nsw.gov.au.
 
Any bookmaker offering odds against a greyhound shall be compelled to lay such odds if demanded by the taker, but so that the bookmaker shall not be compelled to lose more than $500 on any one wager.

Smoking

All enclosed areas are "SMOKE FREE ZONES". Smoking is allowed in open-air areas.

Eftpos

There is no EFTPOS facilities at the Lismore track.

Other  

There limited camping facilities for travelling trainers, with some kennels available for the greyhounds.
 
There are also replays of all races, which are available to owners and trainers on course.
