Surface and Lure

Bulli is a one turn Loam surface track with a cable lure system

Nomination details

Nominations for Monday meetings at Bulli close Wednesday prior at 9 am unless otherwise advertised.

Nominate with GRNSW: Fax: (02) 8580 5301 (24/7) Phone Nomination on 1300 664 565 between 8am and 9am Monday to Friday. You can also register Online to Nominate through the GRNSW website at www.thedogs.com.au.

Box Draw

The box draw is conducted by the GRNSW following close of nominations. Box draw is typically released Wednesday afternoons following grading and can be found on this website, under racing info tab, or alternatively at www.thedogs.com.au

For trainers wishing to access fields via the Telads service please call Call 1902 261 112 and follow the prompts.

Scratchings

Scratchings are taken by GRNSW on 1300 797 538. Phone between 8am and 10:00am daily. DEADLINE FOR SCRATCHINGS 9.00am the day of the race meeting. Scratchings that are faxed WILL NOT be accepted.

Kenneling & Kennels

Kennels There is a veterinary service available at all race meetings. The Kennel block is air-conditioned and the kennels are on one level.

Kenneling Times are 5.45 - 6.25pm each meeting
Open 90 minutes prior to the advertised starting time for race 1 and 
Close 45 minutes prior to the advertised starting time for race 1

Swabs

Bulli follow GRNSW swabbing procedures and withholds prizemoney greater than $5830 when swabs are undertaken. Prizemoney is paid following clearance of swab sample.

Trials

Race Day Trials

Monday nights after the last race. Tickets must be purchased by Race 9. Trials are field and solo trials only, no arm trials.

Non Race Day Trials

Bulli tirals on Tuesday mornings by booking only. Bookings can be made by contacting Paul Barnes on (02) 4267 1467 or  0418 433 083 or email: topdog@bulligreyhounds.com.au

Standard trials are held on Friday mornings. With 472m and 515m trials conducted 7.30-8.15am, 400m trails conducted 8.30-9.15am. Private trials from 9.40am, Arm trials must be booked.

Travel & Entry

Admission

Entry to Bulli race meetings for Adults is $6.50. Children under 18 are free when accompanied by an adult.

Parking

Parking is available on site free of charge for participants and patrons

Driving

NSW GBOTA provides the following driving suggestions. No responsability is taken for traffic or tolls enroute. Please use GPS or other devices if concerned. 

From Sydney
Take the Princess Highway exiting at Bulli Pass. Follow signs to the right to Bulli. Turn right into Grevillea Park Road (Bulli-Woonona Bowling Club located at turn) and follow road around to Showground entrance on right hand side.

Public Transport

Bulli Showground is located a five minute walk from the Bulli Train Station. The Bulli station is on the South Coast Line, which operates between Sydney and Nowra. Information on services can be found at http://www.cityrail.info/

General Information

Feature Races 

Bulli hosts 2 Group events each calendar year, including Group 2 Centrebet Cyril Rowe Gold Plate 472m and Ranvet Gold Cup 472m.

The Centrebet Cyril Rowe Gold Plate is conducted in January for the best 64 greyhounds, with $25,000 to the winner.
 
The Ranvet Gold Cup is conducted in May with qualifiers from heats conducted at Bulli and Maitland contesting the Group $25,000 final at Bulli.

Catering & Bar

Bulli provides a diverse choice of catering for patrons with a snack bar located on the ground floor, and bistro located on the second floor. Both outlets have a diverse range of meals cooked to order. Bar facilities are located on the ground floor. Catering packages for functions are available and can be discussed with Paul Barnes.

Wagering

Bulli GBOTA currently has one Bookmaker operating and full TAB Totalisator services in the betting and bar area.

The NSW GBOTA advocates responsible wagering. Know your limits. If gambling is a problem for you, please call 1800 858 858 or head to
www.gamblinghelp.nsw.gov.au.
 
Any bookmaker offering odds against a greyhound shall be compelled to lay such odds if demanded by the taker, but so that the bookmaker shall not be compelled to lose more than $800 on any one wager.

Smoking

All enclosed areas including the Betting Ring are "SMOKE FREE ZONES". Smoking is allowed in open-air areas including the stands.

Eftpos

Bulli GBOTA has No EFTPOS service available.
