Member Welfare

It can happen, for various reasons, that the Association is unaware should one of its members be suffering serious ill health or has in fact passed away.

To have a conduit for members to advise the Association on these occasions, the Association has appointed Welfare Officers  -  Director/Life Member George Hayes and Life Member Barry Colless.

The Welfare Officers, when contacted, will assess the situation and will react appropriately . The Welfare Officers may attend or elect an alternative representative to:

  • Attend  funerals
  • Organise a home visit, phone call or
  • Alternatively advise Head Office of the situation.

Should any member need the services of a Welfare Officer, or should any member wish to provide details of another member to a NSW GBOTA Welfare Officer please contact either George or Barry as below:
