An exciting opportunity exists to join NSW GBOTA as a Facilities Maintenance and Track Assistant at our Gosford Greyhound Track.


Primary purpose of the role:

The Facilities Maintenance and Track Assistant will be required to do Tractor work, Track watering, Grounds Maintenance and cleaning. This position may include weekend and evening work. This is a full time role however, we will consider for the right candidate a part time position. You will be reporting to the Track Manager.


About you

  • Driving licence is essential
  • You will have demonstrated experience in a trade/landscaping or similar
  • Current WHS qualifications preferred
  • Experience in Horticulture or Racing Track Maintenance desirable
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common organisational goals.
  • Capacity to use technology desirable
  • Ability to operate a tractor and medium rigid machinery; capacity to obtain other licences and certifications if required.

  • Appreciates that the little things matters
  • Has pride in work and therefore appearance of venue
  • Has regard for other people, including safe working practices

 Lure driving experience extremely desirable.
