How do I become a member?

Membership is achieved by joining one of the thirty branches of the Association. Information about association can be found in the history section.

The branches are spread over NSW and each meet once a month.

A listing of the branches is available on this site, including the branch Secretary’s name, phone number and the time and venue of the branch meetings.

Simply pick your branch! Obviously it will be the one nearest to your residence – and contact the Secretary.

The Branch Secretary will answer any queries you may have in relation to becoming a member and the activities of the branch in general.

The only two specific requirements for membership of the Association as laid down in the Articles of Association are:

(a) The applicant is to be registered with the Greyhound Racing Authority (NSW). In the case of applicants registered as an ‘Attendant’ these applicants have to be over 18 years of age and have been registered with the GRA (NSW) for at least two years.

(b) Applicants have to attend three branch meetings and then their application is forwarded to the Directors for approval.

It’s that easy!!!

So take the first step by contacting the Secretary in your area and you are on the way to becoming a member of the NSW Greyhound Breeders, Owners & Trainers’ Association and enjoying the many benefits being a member of the Association brings.
