NSW GBOTA Election of Office Bearers

Geoff Rose had been elected as the Chairman of the NSW GBOTA for a two year term.

Mr Rose has been a Director since 1994 and Deputy Chairman of the Association since 1996. Jenny Green, a Director since 2006 was elected Deputy Chairman and Bryan Young, a Director since 2008, will continue in his role as the Association's Treasurer.

Joe Cotroneo, a Director since 2001 and George Hayes, who has served in two terms, 2007-2008 and from 2009 until current time, were elected to join the three senior office bearers on the Executive Committee.

Mr Rose said he viewed his appointment as an honour and was looking forward to ensuring the ongoing success of the Association.

“The Association's achievements under the previous Chairman, Bill Mangafas, were substantial and I am very happy to be leading an organisation that will continue to build on the great work that has already been undertaken,” stated Mr Rose.

“The Board has already commenced an assessment of its strategic direction and major objectives from both commercial and membership perspectives.

“The Board understands what is important and the relationships that are needed to ensure continuous improvement.

“I look forward to being a part of a focused and committed team that leads the Association appropriately.”
